Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026. This policy describes how Venture Verse LLC handles information through Courtify.

Information we process

We process account and sign-in information; attorney, client, and case details; case and form drafts; subscription status; support correspondence; and waitlist names, email addresses, and state selections. Case information may include information about other people and sensitive financial, health, family, or legal matters. Only enter information you are authorized to provide and need for your work.

Our hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, page visits, and diagnostic logs. Courtify includes Vercel Web Analytics for allowlisted public pageviews only; query strings and fragments are removed, and dashboard pages and custom events are excluded. Authentication uses browser cookies or similar storage to maintain your session.

How information is used and shared

We use information to authenticate you, save and retrieve your workspace, generate requested PDFs, verify subscription access, respond to support requests, operate the waitlist, and maintain the service. Clerk provides authentication and billing interfaces, Convex stores workspace and subscription-access records, Stripe processes payments through Clerk Billing, and Vercel provides hosting and analytics. These providers process information needed for their services under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Full payment-card details are handled by the payment services, not stored in Courtify workspace records. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users. This policy does not govern a provider’s independent services or a court’s handling of documents you file.

First-party campaign measurement

We measure visits from specifically allowlisted campaign parameters, new-account signups, and an account’s first intentional PDF download initiated. A download initiated does not prove the file was saved. We use a first-party, HttpOnly attribution cookie containing a random signed identifier that expires seven days after the first campaign visit. It preserves attribution across sign-up redirects. The server verifies your authenticated account and its creation time with Clerk; returning-user sign-ins do not count as new signups. Previews, opening an editor, and failed PDF generation do not count as downloads.

Conversion records contain allowlisted campaign labels, event times, an opaque attribution identifier and an authenticated account key for deduplication and deletion. They do not contain names, email addresses, case numbers, matter details, answers, document contents, full URLs, referrers, Facebook click IDs, IP addresses or user-agent strings. These events stay within Courtify and its Convex storage; we do not send them to Meta or an analytics provider. The owner’s report exposes aggregate counts and rates only. Visitor counts reflect attribution identifiers rather than unique people, and can be affected by blocked or cleared cookies, multiple devices, bots and outages.

Detailed campaign records expire 180 days after the visit and are removed by an hourly cleanup process. Minimal account keys, signup/download deduplication flags and database record creation metadata remain until account deletion to prevent repeat counts. Daily ingestion-limit counters expire after seven days. Deleting your account through Settings removes its linked tracking records and flags along with workspace data. Unclaimed anonymous visits cannot be associated with an account and expire automatically. Provider backups follow their retention cycles.

PDFs, browser data, and retention

PDF generation processes the information you submit to produce a download; generated PDFs are not saved as documents in your Courtify workspace. Your saved case details and drafts remain stored separately. Downloaded PDFs are under your control. Older browser-stored records may also remain on your device after an optional import; deleting server data does not erase those local copies.

Canceling a subscription does not delete saved data. To delete your account and workspace, use “Delete my account” in Settings and type the confirmation phrase. This locks your workspace while a background process cancels paid Courtify subscriptions, deletes your sign-in account, and removes saved workspace records and waitlist entries matching your verified account emails. We delete case data within 30 days of a verified deletion request. If you cannot sign in or used the separate account-profile deletion control, contact support from your account email so we can verify identity and complete cleanup.

Limited transaction, security, and request-fulfillment records may be retained where needed for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Service-provider backup copies are subject to their retention cycles rather than immediate erasure; they are not used to restore a deleted workspace for normal use.

Your choices and requests

You can review and update workspace information in the app. Contact hello@ventureverse.net to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, removal from the waitlist, or review of a privacy-request decision. Rights may depend on your location and circumstances. Do not include sensitive case documents in your initial email; we will coordinate any necessary verification.

Security and changes

Authentication and per-user access controls help restrict workspace access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account and downloaded files. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required.
